TREATMENT & THERAPY
Even though pelvic floor physical therapy has been around many years, it is not a
well known specialty within the community. Pelvic floor therapy is targeted at the pelvic floor muscles, ligaments and connective tissues. The pelvic floor muscles support the pelvic organs, assist in bowel and bladder control, and contribute to sexual arousal and orgasm. These muscles are “out of site and commonly out of mind” for many people, and have been taboo to discuss for many years.
However a dysfunction of the pelvic floor can cause
Urinary leakage
Pelvic Pain
Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Musculoskeletal Pain
Bowel Symptoms
Pain with intercourse
Lower back/ SI joint pain
In the comfort of your home, Dr. Sanchez will discuss, evaluate, and personalize the treatments
to achieve your goals, restore function, and stop the discomfort.
