WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?
At the initial evaluation in the comfort of your home, you and Dr. Sanchez will discuss your problem and how therapy can help achieve your goals.  The evaluation will include analysis of posture, joint integrity and mobility, muscle performance and movement activities. Treatment might be initiated at the first visit as well as a home exercise program.
HOW LONG WITH THE VISITS LAST?
The initial evaluation will last about an hour and a half. The follow up visits around an hour.
HOW MANY VISITS WILL I NEED TO TREAT MY CONDITION?
After the initial evaluation Dr. Sanchez will discuss in more detail how many visits you might expect to achieve your personal goals.
DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S REFERRAL?
No. Maine is a direct access state meaning that you do not need a referral to start physical therapy services. However, some insurance companies require a referral for reimbursement of the services.
DO YOU ACCEPT MY INSURANCE?
At Home Physio is an out of network provider for all insurance carriers. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check, debit or credit card. Insurance companies often reimburse for out-of-network physical therapy treatments. An itemized receipt will be provided for you to pursue reimbursement directly through your insurance company. Please refer to the Insurance Benefit Worksheet for further information.
DO YOU DO TELEHEALTH VISITS?
Yes. Telehealth is a great way to discuss your symptoms and get more information about how At Home Physio can get you started.
SHOULD I WEAR A MASK IN MY OWN HOUSE?
Dr. Sanchez is fully vaccinated and has received her booster shot. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Dr. Sanchez is taking extra precautions to keep us safe and would prefer if you both wear masks during treatment.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
I kindly ask you that you cancel 24 hrs in advance via phone, email or portal. Any cancellation after that time might be subject to a full session fee.

DO YOU OFFER ORTHOPEDIC PHYSICAL THERAPY SERVICES?
Yes! Even though my specialty is the pelvic floor, I enjoy treating orthopedic conditions. Injuries or discomfort to the neck, shoulder, elbow, back, hips, knees and ankles should not hold you back. At Home Physio will assess and treat your condition in your home so you can return to the things you enjoy most.
